The DLS-30 Power Converter/Battery Charger from IOTA Engineering converts nominal 108-132 AC voltage to 13.4 DC voltage for both DC load operation and 12V battery charging.
As a power supply, the unit’s tightly controlled regulation allows the user to operate a nominal 12VDC load up to 30 amps.
As a battery charger, the unit will maintain the battery, delivering its full-rated current when the battery capacity falls sufficiently low. The voltage is set to deliver its maximum current for the necessary period of time to minimize undue stress to the battery caused by heating of its cells. This helps to ensure the longest possible life of the battery. Over time, as the battery nears its full capacity, the DLS-30 will automatically drop the current, providing a float-charge to the battery to prevent self-discharge of the cells.
The SBI12-LLD is a microprocessor-controlled Load Disconnect Isolator. The SBI12-LLD is designed specifically for use in LiFePO4 battery applications as a system to protect the lithium battery from being excessively discharged by auxiliary loads, enabling the auxiliary battery to remain above the level at which internal protection circuitry would activate. Falling below this threshold would prevent many chargers from recharging the battery.
Boasting 30 amps of power output, The Manager30 is a state-of-the-art battery management system designed to charge and maintain auxiliary batteries by incorporating AC, DC and solar inputs.
If charging one auxiliary battery or more, The Manager30 will ensure they’re always fully charged, providing peace of mind when using the comforts of home while travelling around North America.
The Manager30 operates like six products in one:
• charges auxiliary batteries from the vehicle alternator while on the move
• it’s a 110 volt AC shore mains power charger
• an MPPT solar regulator
• a battery isolator
• a load disconnect controller
• includes a remote battery monitor, making it market-leading.
The display uses a modern, user-friendly interface and features an easy to understand system layout. The robust display has been built and tested to withstand the toughest and most extreme environmental conditions, and allows you to control multiple on-board devices as well as have visibility of water tank levels and battery power, when paired with the REDARC Manager 30 battery management system.
